England v Iceland: Raheem Sterling and Jordan Henderson to miss Nations League match

Raheem Sterling and Jordan Henderson will miss England’s Nations League played against Iceland at Wembley on Wednesday in view of injury.

Liverpool chief Henderson was changed at half-time in England’s 2-0 leads by Belgium on Sunday subsequent to feeling snugness in his leg.

Sterling Manchester City forward will missed the match for a calf issue.

The two players will not represent their clubs because they will go for additional evaluation before the Premier League continues this end of the week.

Manchester City are at Tottenham on Saturday (17:30 GMT) while Liverpool have Leicester on Sunday (19:15).

Britain supervisor Gareth Southgate will plan for Wednesday’s match with a 22-man crew.

The Three Lions can’t fit the bill for next October’s Nations League finals following their misfortune to Belgium in Leuven.
