NSCDC arrest 7 ‘cable vandals' in Kano

The Kano State Command of the Nigeria Safety and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested seven suspects for allegedly vandalising cables at varied areas throughout the state.
Spokesman for the command, DSC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi disclosed this to newsmen in Kano on Thursday.
He mentioned the arrest adopted an intelligence surveillance by the group of the Command and together with vigilante officers.
He added that investigations into the circumstances have since been accomplished and the suspects can be charged to court docket with conspiracy, vandalisation in addition to receiving stolen property.
