NURTW Reinstates MC Oluomo Months After His Suspension

The Nationwide Union of Highway Transport Staff (NURTW) has addressed a letter to Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly often called MC Oluomo, lifting his suspension because the chairman of the Lagos chapter of the union.
Naija Information recollects that MC Oluomo was suspended in March 2023 over alleged misconduct, insubordination and incitement.
MC Oluomo was accused of planning to instigate mayhem within the union branches in Lagos who did not obey his directions.
In a current letter, nonetheless, addressed to MC Oluomo, the final secretary of the union, Kayode Agbeyangi, stated the choice to carry the suspension on the Lagos chapter chairman was taken in the course of the union's emergency central working committee assembly (CWC) on August 31.
“I'm directed to inform you that your suspension from workplace because the Lagos state chairman of our nice union is hereby lifted with impact from immediately, 1st of September, 2023,” Agbeyanji stated.
“The above choice was taken throughout an emergency Central Working Committee assembly (CWC) of the union dated thirty first August 2023 on the NURTW Nationwide Secretariat workplace advanced, plot 1236 Sapele Avenue Garki II, Abuja.
“Whereas thanking you to your cooperation and understanding, please settle for the renewed assurance of our highest regards,” the NURTW letter learn.
