Billionaires’ Show: Sounds and Sights As Eriri Ego Holds Father’s Memorial Service: See photos/videos

In a well-attended memorial service which commenced with the first ever Polo Tournament in Imo State on 29th December, was held in the loving memory of late patriarch, pathfinder and Christian religion’s clergy, Late Reverend Lawrence Onuoha in Umunakara, Nwangele LGA of Imo State.

The event, attended by top political office holders and industry experts across the nation was a testament to the deceased’s enduring legacy and impact which have been further enlarged by his prominent son, High Chief (Dr) Michael Onuoha, as men and women of higher stakes, from all walks of life came to pay homage at at the palatial arena, Casa De Garcia Estate, Umuokwaraiheoma, Umunakara, Nwangele LGA, Imo State.

The event was a gathering of who-is-who in Nigeria, and Igboland in particular. While it is almost impossible to feature even two percent of the names of dignitaries in attendance in this article, prominent figures, including but not limited to His Excellency, Emeka Ihedioha, (former executive governor of Imo State), Distinguished Senator Osita Izunaso, (senator representing Imo West), Hon. Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, Dr Charles (Charly Akpuruka) Ahize, (Dr) Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu (Cubana Chief Priest), Chief Francis Udo Nwaogwugwu (CEO, Vintage Luxuries Interior), Hon. Paul Duru (the executive chairman of Nwangele LGA), Osita Iheme (PawPaw) among others too numerous to mention were sighted in their full elegance.

Speakers at the memorial service reflected on the late Reverend Lawrence Onuoha’s immense contributions to the development of social capital and his unwavering commitment to public service.

The memorial service was a poignant pointer to the towering influence, contact and reach of the well respected Chief Michael Onuoha,( Eriri Ego Gburugburu, Akukwesiri 1 of Umunakara) who is the MD/CEO of Ailes Group Limited, an oil/gas and agro allied resource conglomerate domiciled in Nigeria with branches all over the world.

The occasion remains one of the most talked-about events in Igboland during the 2024 yuletide season.
