Kane showers Maguire with praises
Kane is the latest high-profile football figure to publicly show support for the former United skipper.
Speaking ahead of Bayern's Champions League meeting with the Red Devils, the ex-Tottenham striker claimed Maguire is ‘one of England's best ever defenders.'
“I think H [Maguire] has come under some unnecessary scrutiny,” the Bayern striker said.”He has probably been scapegoated a bit. He is a really good friend of mine, a great guy and a really hard working professional.”He has been one of England's best defenders over recent times and in England's history,” he added.
Maguire is not part of United's squad that will face Bayern on Wednesday night, having been dropped after he picked up an injury, per Goal.
